On Saturday, September 7, former Marian Catholic High School athlete Joshua Coats played in the Benedictine Eagles’ 34-to-7 win over the Buena Vista Beavers.
Coats is a 5′10″ 180-pound senior defensive back.
He racked up four tackles, helping the Benedictine Eagles shut down the Buena Vista Beavers offense.
Benedictine’s football team is an NCAA DIII team that plays in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference.
Up next for Coats: the Eagles play the Duhawks at Loras on Saturday, September 14 at 7 p.m.
