Marian Catholic battled throughout Tuesday’s tournament game in Wilmette but ultimately took a 44–29 loss to host Loyola Academy.
The tournament game was played Dec. 23, as part of the Loyola Academy Christmas Tournament.
Marian Catholic struggled to generate offense against Loyola Academy’s tight defense and finished with 29 points in the tournament matchup. Ty Jackson led the Spartans’ scoring effort, providing their most consistent production. Despite his contributions, Marian Catholic couldn’t close the gap as Loyola pulled away for a 44–29 win.
