Despite being outshot from beyond the arc—Mater Lakes achieved eight three-pointers compared to Marian’s four—the Spartans managed to secure the win through strong inside play and timely shooting. The game was tightly contested, with both teams nearly matching each other shot for shot.
The statistics reveal that Marian made 22 field goals against Mater Lakes’ 19. However, the free-throw disparity was significant. Marian converted 7 of 11 free throws (63.6%), while Mater Lakes made 8 of 10 (80%).
