Marian Catholic Girls Tennis falls to Marist 5-0

Marion Catholic girls tennis team fell in a sweep to Marist on Oct. 3rd, 5-0.

Athena Jaculbe fell 6-0, 6-0 in the first seed singles match while Alexus Alexander managed to win one game in the first set of her loss to Stella Harris.

Doubles play didn’t go much better for The Spartans as they fell in all three seeds of doubles play.

Teams of Morgan Bolton and Anaya Rolling, Julia Keating and Ashanti Bunton, and Avalyn Humbert and Sophia Deabel managed to total up 5 wins between all the sets in their losses to Maris.

The girls will look for a win in their next match-up, as their record falls to 9-11 on the season.

Marian Quad

Marian Catholic won two of three matches Oct. 5 in the Marian Catholic Quad, notching victories over Hillcrest and Tinley Park, while falling to Chicago Christian.
